Peill & Co Ltd, the PAI member for Cumbria, The Lakes, Lancashire and southern Scotland have concluded a series of four lettings at Crakeside Business Park, Greenodd, in south Lakeland to a range of tenants, which demonstrates good on-going demand for industrial/warehouse and trade counter opportunities. Unit 1 at the estate has been let to Tynedale Agricultural Supplies who are expanding their presence in the area from their existing base at Ulverston Auction mart and taking the unit of 2000 sq ft at the entrance to the estate to be used as a warehouse and trade counter.
The Handmade Ice-Cream Company are relocating their manufacturing and production facility from nearby Haverthwaite and intend to open a small retail outlet for customers to be able to purchase the ice-cream produced on site. Handmade Ice-Cream Company was established in the Lake District and specialises in completely natural ice cream, including some vegan varieties.
The final two units at the estate are under offer to a commercial bakery, who also intend to open an outlet for customers to purchase their produce, as well as continuing their wholesale distribution business into expanded premises, relocating from the centre of the village. Other occupiers on the estate include One-Stop Hire and The Porterage Company, who have a wholesale business and trade counter selling fine wines and associated products, and also a distribution centre serving the whole of the Lake District.
