Peill & Company, the PAI member for Cumbria, the Lake District and Lancashire have let a former Nat West bank in Bowness-on-Windermere to KUDOS TV (the makers of Grantchester, Broadchurch and Humans) to be featured in a new drama being filmed for ITV to be called ‘Deep Water’. Filming commenced in early September and the bank has been let to them on a temporary licence and will be featured in the new production which is based upon The Windermere series of novels by Paula Daly. The six-part series follows the lives of 3 complex and vibrant women each struggling to keep their heads above very deep water and will star Anna Fiel, Sinead Keenan and Rosalind Eleazar.

Simon Adams, Managing Director of Peill & Company commented ‘we were delighted to be able to accommodate the short-term requirement by KUDOS TV to facilitate the filming of the new drama, which has coincided well with our client obtaining planning permission for conversion of the former bank into ground floor retail and holiday lets on the upper floors. We are currently in discussions with a number of retailers to take the space on the ground floor, with a view to refurbishment works starting in early 2019’.

The retail unit to be created will occupy a prime position in the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and offer up to 1500 sq ft of space – further details area available from Peill & Company.
