Former Yorkshire Building Society LET to Cumbrian Florist

Acting on behalf of a private property company, Peill & Co Ltd the PAI member for the Lake District, Cumbria and Lancashire, have advised on the acquisition of the former Yorkshire Building Society in the centre of Windermere, and originally let the former branch premises to another A2 user who, after completion of the lease, decided to amend their relocation plans. As such, Peill & Co negotiated on behalf of all parties involved, resulting in a surrender of the lease and a new letting to Valerie Ann Florists, a well-established Lake District florist relocating from premises elsewhere in Windermere. Valerie Ann’s, who have other outlets in Ambleside and Bowness-on-Windermere together with a significant commercial/hotel trade business have refitted the shop and it now trades as their latest branch of Valerie Ann Florists.
