Freehold furniture store sold

Acting on behalf of Stokers Group, the former Youngs Furnishings Store at 20 Cavendish Street, Barrow in Furness, has been sold freehold to an owner occupier. The marketing of the property resulted in several expressions of interest, both leasehold and freehold and the decision was made to set a closing date for receipt of offers. The property, which extends to a total of approximately 5,957 sq ft (553.4 sq m) was sold off an asking price of £275,000.
