New independent retailer takes former Dorothy Perkins units

Acting on behalf of private clients, Peill & Company have acted jointly with Emanuel Oliver in connection with the letting of the former Dorothy Perkins units at 3-5 Finkle Street in Kendal to Room, an eclectic independent trader new to the town. The unit has been fitted out to a high standard and offers interior furnishings, fashions and gifts. Peill & Company’s building consultancy department acted for the landlords in relation to dilapidations with the outgoing tenant, Arcadia Group and oversaw refurbishment works of the properties to enable the shop to be fitted out by the incoming tenant. The unit occupies a very good trading location at the top of Finkle Street close to Greggs, Nevisport, Cumberland, White Stuff and TK Maxx.
