Windermere Shop Let to Local Furniture Maker

Acting on behalf of a private pension fund client, Peill & Company have let the former Motor World shop at 25 Crescent Road in Windermere to Peter Hall & Son as a new showroom for their bespoke handmade furniture and associated soft furnishings and homewares, being in an additional outlet to their workshop showroom in nearby Staveley. A new showroom represents the first High Street retail unit for Peter Hall & Son, who have long being established within the Lake District. Peill & Company acted on behalf of the pension fund trustees throughout the process, including negotiating a dilapidations settlement with the outgoing tenant before the shop was substantially refurbished and let to the new occupier.
