South Lakes Letting to Lobster and Seafood Shop

Acting on behalf of a private landlord, Peill & Company have let 58 Market Street in Ulverston to the Lake District Lobster & Seafood Company as their first permanent retail outlet, having previously traded from food markets and mobile sales. Peill & Company advised the freehold owner on the purchase of the property (which was acquired at auction) which was then subsequently refurbished to provide ground floor shop, rear garage/warehousing and self contained maisonette above. The shop, which historically traded as a butcher’s shop continues in food use and is situated opposite Irving’s Butchers and Lloyds Bank.
