Help Given for Christmas Food Project

Peill & Company, the PAI member for Cumbria, Lancashire and Southern Scotland has assisted the Copeland Christmas Food Project in west Cumbria, by making a donation, and arranging a temporary free warehouse for the project at Haig Enterprise in Whitehaven. The project was established by Jordan Mattinson of Whitehaven RUFC with the aim of providing free meals to over 1,700 children in the Copeland area.
The warehouse will be made available to the project at nil rent until the project is completed in mid-December and Claire Bailey, Property Manager at Peill & Company commented, “We are pleased to assist Jordan and his team as they seek to provide free meals to schoolchildren in need over the festive period throughout a wide area of west Cumbria. The project has already raised over £6,000 towards their target, and we hope that our donation, and facilitating some free warehousing will see them complete what they set out to do”.
