Lots of activity at Crakeside Business Park

We have had a recent flurry of activity of lettings of various units at the Crakeside Business Park, Greenodd, near Ulverston. The site occupies an attractive location on the edge of the Lake District National Park, but with immediate access to the A590 trunk road (where works are well under way for a new roundabout junction at the entrance to the village within 200 metres of the business park). New occupiers on the estate in September include The Porterage Company, a high quality wine merchant who will be opening on the site very soon. Already open for trade is One Stop Hire Ltd, the northern tool and equipment hire chain based in Wrightington near Wigan, this being their first Cumbrian outlet. Ridley Thaw, chartered surveyors in Manchester, acted on behalf of One Stop Hire. In addition, a new bespoke furniture workshop and cabinet makers’ showroom is opening in Unit 3b. The Rusland Movement is a range of high quality furniture inspired by the woodlands of the Rusland Valley and made on site by cabinet makers in the adjoining Unit 3a.

Only one of the units on the estate is now left, Unit 2, which extends to 2,000 sq ft, although our clients would consider splitting the unit into 2 smaller units. The estate is within 5 minutes’ drive time of Ulverston, 25 minutes from access to the M6 motorway at junction 36, 25 minutes from Kendal and 15 minutes from Barrow in Furness. Further details from Simon Adams, and marketing particulars can be downloaded from this website.
