Kendal landmark gets new lease of life

The famous 16th Century building at 69 Stricklandgate is renowned for the projecting hog at first floor level, has re-opened after a refurbishment and fit-out by the Bristly Hog Coffee House and it opened its doors on St George's Day. The hog relates to the use of the property during the 19th Century as a brush factory. Acting on behalf of a private landlord, Peill & Company let the ground floor of the property - there are 2 upper floors where offices or alternative accommodation is planned.
