Expro Group Relocation in Ulverston, Cumbria

Marketing to commence of Expro’s existing site in Ulverston due to relocation

Peill & Company Chartered Surveyors have put the existing property occupied by Expro’s Tronic products division on the market for sale due to the impending relocation of the business to a new purpose-built headquarters building at Low Mill Business Park, which represents a £12m investment in the town.

The existing site on Sandside Road has been home to the world-renowned Tronic business for over 20 years and the company has gradually expanded on the Sandside Road site. The site extends to a total of approximately 2.57 acres and there are 3 existing buildings on the site totalling 42,026 sq ft with potential expansion space on the site.

Simon Adams, director of Peill & Company Chartered Surveyors, commented: “We are pleased to be able to offer the freehold of this site on Sandside Road, which offers a rare opportunity for either an owner/occupier or investor/developer to acquire a substantial site in Ulverston. The existing buildings lend themselves to being split down and occupied by individual businesses, or could continue to be occupied as a whole. We have already received expressions of interest in the site from a range of potential purchasers and we will be progressing this interest.”

Expro’s Tronic products team are due to relocate into their new headquarters building by October 2009. The new site extends to a total of approximately 45,000 sq m and has the capacity for up to 450 employees.
