Peill & Company wins National Award

Peill & Company, commercial chartered surveyors based in Cumbria, have been awarded the title of Most Active Agent in Lancashire & Cumbria for 2009/2010 by the property industry magazine, Estates Gazette.  The researchers at Estates Gazette Interactive analysed details of transactions across all sectors of commercial property throughout Cumbria and Lancashire for the period 31 March 2009 to 1 April 2010 and Peill & Company were awarded the honour of having concluded the most number of deals than any other commercial agent in the region.  Simon Adams, director of Peill & Company, commented “we are delighted to have been recognised as the most active commercial agent in Cumbria & Lancashire, particularly during what has been one of the worst commercial property markets in a generation.  2010 has, however, seen a good start to the year, with a significant number of deals having been concluded compared with the same period in 2009 and, in general, there seems to be a significant increase in confidence from occupiers generally.
